Our study programs
At Viden Djurs we offer a wide variety of study programs divided into 4 types of youth education programs.
We offer 2 different higher examination programs – a technical (HTX) and a commercial (HHX). Further we offer vocational upper secondary education and training (EUD) and vocational education programs qualifying for access to higher education (EUX).
VID Gymnasier – Higher Examination Program
As the largest upper secondary school in our region, VID Gymnasier offers two different three-year upper secondary education programs that prepare 16 to 19-year-olds in our region for higher education
HTX
HTX is our Higher Technical Examination Program. The HTX program has its focus on technological and scientific subjects in combination with general subjects, and the basic idea is to combine theory and practice in problem-based learning.
The secondary education program is qualifying students for admission to Danish business academies, university colleges and universities. We offer 7 different fields of study. These are:
- Sport science
- Bioscience
- Technology
- Game ART
- Game IT
HHX
HHX is our Higher Commercial Examination Program. The HHX-program has its focus on business, economics and socioeconomics combined with foreign languages and other general subjects.
The secondary education program is qualifying students for admission to Danish business academies, university colleges and universities. We offer 3 different fields of study. These are:
- Business and Marketing
- Global
- International
VID Erhvervsuddannelser - Vocational education and training
VID Erhvervsuddannelser offers a wide variety of vocational education and training programs for young people and adults. The programs are qualifying the students for a job inside a specific field of work.
EUD
The EUD-program is the traditional vocational education and training program. The program is a combination of school-based education and internships that prepares the student for working. The length of the programs differs from program to program.
We offer programs within three different main fields. These are:

EUX
EUX is a special program that combines the general secondary upper education and the vocational education and training. The EUX-program both qualifies the student for a job and gives access to higher education upon graduation.
